With a program like Nero INCD (comes with burning ROM) yes. This will alow you to use t like a floppy disc. I think Windows XP lets you do this too, but don't hold me to that.

Yeah, you can do this to a CD-RW with any CD writing program.
And I use Alcohol 120% - it's darned good.

CD-RW's do excatly what they say on the tin, i've used, formatted and re-used one about 50 times now and it still works.
