Driving home today was like some crazy new extreme sport. It was like having four snowboards attached to the wheels. Only slightly less fast.
Ah well, I nearly got run over because the snow/hail was hitting my eyes

Had some hailstones this morning, which quickly froze solid. Windscreen wipers got frozen to the windscreen.
Bit icy on the minor roads but not a sight of these blizzards that the East coast is getting.

I was using my PC upstairs in my bedroom when I heard a thump on my bedroom window. I looked outside, and it was my Dad, throwing snowballs at it. I gave him one chance to hit me (with the empty promise of no flinching), so he lobbed one at my face, only for me to duck and for the snowball to hit my DVD player. I didn't laugh.
There's a lesson to be learned here, kids: never flinch.
