I was wondering has anyone else experienced large black boarders on their screens while playing Z.O.E and the MGS demo? I'm not talking about the small boarders you usually get around PAL converted games, these boarders are pretty thick and whilst you don't notice them too much during the game, when a cut scene loads up they really stick out!
Does anyone else have this or do I need a new T.V?
One thing I had noticed was that the FMV in Starfighter has small borders on the left and right hand side of the screen on my TV.

I'm using my old PS1 SCART lead too, and the picture is crystal clear.
You can get PS2 SCART leads, but as with the S-Video lead, I thing they are scarce in the UK. I wouldn't worry too much though, because the PS1 and PS2 SCART leads are identical in every way except the colour - grey for PS1 and black for PS2.

Ridge Racer V has it, as does Moto GP. I'm sure a few others do, but I can't think of them at the mo...

Mine is a Sony Wega.

It could be that if you

But still have the borders.
No positioning option but not too distracting.
I've only seen that option in Tekken Tag. I'm surprised that other games don't feature it.

I know this was primarily aimed at Goatboy, but I thought I'd tell you anyway...

It could be that if you connect using composite or S-Video that you get a slightly different screen position, but I'm not sure.
Mine's getting on a bit so I thought it might be something to do with that.

I think it's just these two games.

It's not just your TV mate if that helps.
Many games give you an option to move/centre the screen, but these don't. Hopefully the full version of MGS2 will; I think a screen-centring option is vital in all games, moreso even than a 60Hz option.
I think it's just these two games.
The Z.O.E is quite bad at the bottom of the screen during gameplay and a bit wide on the left.
It's not just your TV mate if that helps.
