Sorry to hit you with more problems!

For a little while now I'm finding my sites on webserver 8 are running poorly.

I've just been monitoring things for a while but after the WS7 problems I'm having to check all my sites and can see one's on WS8 are running particularly poorly.

Could this be investigated please?

Think it's been answered. It seems like we got a bit of a result and found what may be causing the issue.

14.37 - it's just taken about 20 seconds to load a simple home page.

Sites on other servers all running normally.

Yes please. Preferably a support ticket if you have to do one or the other, as more of us look at ST than the forums.

In the past I've had to move some sites away from server 8 due to performance issues. That time I believe ncrs stopped new domains 'picking' server 8 to try help the work load.

I'm seeing the same as you, sometimes the sites perform normally and at other times pages take an age to load.

Would you like me to post here/raise a ticket when I notice the problem occurring?

Bah, really sorry this has been missed Hmmm...., sure you're aware the guys and I have had a fairly busy week.

Spoke to ncrs about this issue and I'll be honest, I don't think you are the first person to mention it. However every time we check the server, it is running perfectly, making it very difficult to pinpoint any cause of the issue.

We believe there may be a couple of sites that randomly get incredibly busy for short periods, causing heavy usage. Although again we can not pinpoint this specifically as a cause.

We certainly won't ignore any issues that occur however so hopefully we can find something soon. If you get any examples please send a support ticket as well as posting on here.
