Something possessed me to do it, and you never know I may even post in it again.

Anyone that wants to die of boredom can see it in all its glory here:

Red Shoe Diaries? I vaguely remember that on Sky One. David Duchovny was in it, wasn't he?

Is this going to get sexual? Like the Red Shoe Diaries?

If it is I may look in now and then.

I know what you mean by that - you can hear people enter the room, just by the change in air pressure sometimes. And the tv too, yes. We'll lose that as we get older.

Recently I've noticed a ringing in my ears, sometimes you go into a nightclub and the speakers are just so damn loud its ridiculous. you can't hear properly for a few days after that. now I've got a slight ringing all the time from that, it makes it so if you're in a quiet room, the silence can actually be deafening.

that makes no sense to you I would imagine, but it will if you stand near to speakers for too long .... :)

Theres no cure for it. Once you've got it, you're stuck with it. it will come and go, sometimes you wont even notice its there. It tends to be at night when its quiet when i notice it most, it can be very frustrating when trying to get to sleep.

Isn't there anything to get rid of it?

I've only had the ringing noise in my left ear since Friday, an on/off sound of what I mentioned, like when a TV gets switched on. Also, heard my heartbeat too, I thought it was someone banging outside because it sounded distant, yet really loud! But it was 3am! Sure it's because I had music pretty loud on some earphones though.

Its a different kind of noise for different people really. For me, it sounds more like that noise the transporter made in the original Star Trek, and at other times it's my heartbeat really loud in my ear.

Like a high-pitched noise? Kind of like, when you're in another room and you can tell when someone has turned on the TV because of that really high-pitched sound? Hard to explain, but probably on about something else!
Can't imagine how annoying it must be though :s

Its a ringing sound in the ear that can get really annoying, especially when it gets loud.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Very pleased
Very pleased with the help given by your staff. They explained technical details in an easy way and were patient when providing information to a non expert like me.
