It is probably in pain. I don't think you can die without being in pain. It has just started me wondering, is animal pain the same as human pain? Is causing an animal to feel pain any less serious than causing a human to feel pain?
This is a bit of a half-formed topic, but I havn't had time to think about this much. Anybody have any thoughts?

Instead of holding it, telling it to move or whatever, my friendjust instinctively kicks the sofa, scaring the cat. Admittedly it was funny watching her jump a few feet skywards, but still...
As a side note, I found that it is possible to punch a monkey 86 times in the face (jabs rather than haymakers) before my arms got too tired to carry on. Who said we've never learned anything from animal experimentation?

Best post of the week! :D
Stamp on a human foot (obviously, a little more pressure has to be applied, because of the greater size) and you'll get a similar result (...and, probably, "something in return", aswell!).
So, I think this proves it: Animals DO feel pain like Humans. :P :)
But what about diffeent humans...
Who hurts more, out of a "dainty, little" woman or a "real-man ["ARF-ARF-ARF!"]"?
