Not quite as clear screen and doesnt look as cool. Not sure about the syncing.
And the Zen doesn't have any of those things?
I prefer the ipod for its nice clear screen, its slick look and its ease with syncing with the pc.

I'd get the Zen. It supports more useful formats. WMA is used a lot now because of the simplicity of converting CDs to WMA using Windows Media Player and as far as I know, the Zen doesn't support it.
Besides, I'd rather spend £200 on a 30GB Zen than on a 10GB iPod. Your example of 'which you'd choose for free' is just stupid and irrelevant.

Depends when it was shipped, takes between 3-5 days I think, but expect it to be the 5th day. They send you an e-mail to say its been shipped and in the e-mail there is a number (bout 9 digits). I have alot more songs then 100. I had a minidisc, (which is for sale if any one wants it) and i found it annoying to keep on adding songs to minidisc when i wanted to listen to somehting else.
I never saw the appeal of I-Pods. I am more of a CD man myself though. I can never be bothered downloading MP3's so I'd never use it and ven if I did I would never have more than about 100 songs which is nothing considering how much memory even the smallest one has. Anyway that's my reasoning for not getting an I-pod. That and I don't think they are aesthetically pleasing. Each to his own though, enjoy it. You paid enough for it:D
