Except Kill Bill *was* poop, and nobody deserves to win awards for ripping other people off badly.

It's pretty obvious what they'll all be. ROTK, POTC and probably Cold Mountain. Predictable every year. Doubtful that Kill Bill will win even anything. It's shat! And hopefully Big Fish will get something for the effort.

The fact Cold Mountain got more nominations than Return of the King show the BAFTAs, like any award ceremony, are biased nonsense.

My Baftas:

> Best Film: Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
> Best British Film: Don't care.
> Best Director: Peter Jackson – The Return of the King [if Jackson doesn't get this, I will hunt Stephen Fry down with a crowbar].
> Best Actor in a Leading Role: NO FRODO? B***ARDS.
> Best Actress in a Leading Role: Uma Thurman – Kill Bill Vol. 1
> Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Sir Ian McKellen – The Return of the King
> Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Don't care either.
> Best Film not in the English Language: Spirited Away [I repete my threat to Mr. Fry if this doesn't get it]
> Adapted Screenplay: The Return of the King
> Make Up & Hair: The Return of the King
> Visual Effects: The Return of the King, by a VERY long way.
> Sound: The Return of the King
> Editing: Return of the King
> Costume Design: The Return of the King
> Production Design: The Return of the King
> Cinematography: The Return of the King
> Music: The Return of the King - have you heard Howard Shore's score? Fan-bloody-tastic.

I've seen Cold Mountain and Master and Commander, and frankly, wasn't impressed. As you can see, I support RotK all the way, although I can see those arty Bafta types going for the above two over Lord of the Rings on almost all of the awards.

In my opinion, Lost in Translation should win a good few, as should Kill Bill. Spirited Away also deserves it's nomination.

I haven't seen Kill Bill (cos of non film fanatics i know) but from what i heard it's just seems it's got no story to it.. I doubt i'll get to see big fish either but we'll see :(
I think LOTR itself should get something for making a fantasy world so believable.
