It needs to be reliable, with good features, support for PC3200 or 2700 RAM and preferably less than £100.

I have the pretty much top of the range Abit NF7-S and it only cost me £85. It would easily do what you want and still be overkill.

i got AsusA7V8X-X for £50 on ebay or you can get the model down which is
simalar at SR for £60

Well, I found the ABit KB7 KT600 motherboard, at overclockers, for £54.05, with VAT included, although you have to pay for delivery....

Yep i am a fan of Abit i actually am using an abit motherboard in my pc at the moments, they are pretty good but it all depends on the budget you have, give us a price range and we will tell you what we think are the best motherboards for that price.

Any of the MSI range for price, quality and functionality, the MSI K7N2G Delta-L for £67 is a great low cost motherboard with loads of features and a good stable motherboard.
