Plus Sky don't do internet so I'd rather keep NTL in business.

NTL get blamed for a reason, its their bloody faults!, it always is and always will be, that it is, until sky put their sorry miserable carcasses out of business hahaha.

Just look at what Kyz said above. He can't use his webspace because you needs to buy a special program to build them...

I'm pretty sure he's just made that up, NTL have nothing like that. You need a free FTP program to connect like most ISPs but you can upload anything you want. Anything. You don't need to buy any programs.

That's why NTL get a bad reputation, people blame all problems on them, plus they make stuff up when they have no problems!

Verdict:

Where I live NTL provide one of the best services in the country. I'm only on 150kb but I've only had 3 down periods of about 2 hours in a year or so and my modem broke (but it was replaced within 2 days, it wasn't even their fault.)

Their customer service was straight through, no queues and they were helpful.

The connection is always on and I get pings of around 20ms on all games.

I'd recommend them to everyone in my area. You lot are just unlucky, or don't know what the problems are.

I've always noticed that whenever anyone has a problem with their internet, it's always NTLs fault. What that big transatlantic cable broke a few months back, that was NTLs fault. When someone forgot to plug in their modem, they blamed NTL for that too.

Everyone badmouths NTL on the net, it's only when they acutally think that they find out that it's nothing to do with them. Sooooo many problems are nothing to do with NTL, people just blame it on them anyway.

Ah my dear friend paradox, badmouthing NTL?, why may I ask?, are you not happy with their incredibly crap service?, the extortionate amounts of money paid for these crap services? and lets all not forget the amazing broadband service which seems to develope a fault every few days, but of course is fixed, a week later! Hmmm I don't see your point (yea sure I don't, stevie frickin wonder could see your point).

Verdict, NTL=DOINKS!

Wow, their 1mb service is about the same price as BT's 512k service.

If you register an account with them you get the webspace, there's no buying packages.

I've got 2 accounts, (uni and home) and both have the webspace. I can upload whatever I want to them.
