I used the name Shedao Shai because I was bored of writing the same old reviews, with the same old structure. As a result I decided to think up a new way to review a game. I remembered reading about Shedao Shai and his hate of machines, and decided it would be fun to review a game, pretending to be him. Though the character would never do such a thing, it was possible to make the story believable in a sort of Sci-fi way.
The whole review was based around the idea that the Yuuzhan Vong could use the game to train themselves, even though they hate technology. It was a crazy idea, but I very much enjoyed thinking up ideas to put in it. The bit that was quoted by SR about music was one of my favourite parts.
After writing the review, the name had made an impression on me, and I thought it would be nice to continue with it. I am sorry to those who thought I was messing around and playing guessing games with people, it wasn`t intended to be a joke.
I will stay as both Shedao Shai and ssxpro. I like both names, and will use them in a similar way to Grix uses two names. (Obviously not as parts of one body, but you know what I mean).
Again, sorry, but the review wouldn`t have had the same effect if written by ssxpro.
It means that someone at SR read my stuff and liked it, which makes me feel chuffed.
It means I don't have to spend £30 on a Dreamcast or £40 on a PC game that day.
It means that I have to go BACK to SR's site and try for another one.
It means I'm addicted to forums, and that I can't really remember what Real Life is actually like anymore.
It means I've got a nice jiffy bag to keep things in.
It means that I get to read lots of other peoples' opinions on topics that I'm interested in, and therefore my own opinions develop too.
It means that one day someone may actually convert me to a PS2.
It means that I can now type a lot faster than I used to.
It means that I usually get flamed by at least one Nintendo fan per day.
It means that I have to put up with Grix.
Fin.
Imagine you are opening the post at home, and a parcel arrives that you`ve been waiting for for ages. (In the case of PS2 owners, thats probably ZOE). This parcel can be the gameaday prize.
What makes it the gameaday prize?
Is it the fact that its the best thing you`ve received that day?
Or is it because the postman who delivered it is called Dave, where as he used to be David?
Let me think.
I swear im going mad!
I tried that, but not posting for 6 weeks

True! I didn`t see your name on the gameaday list for a bit, so obviously silent posts can`t win.

Which two? Or were you trying to post in a different discussion? I did that once, and the people there wondered what the hell I was on about because I`d replied to a totally different thing.

I tried that, but not posting for 6 weeks didn't get me anywhere.
