So, you are a regular Nintendo fan, supported them throught the days of the SNES and N64, but what would you do, if your parents came home with a Playstation 2?

Personally, I would plug the thing in and have a blast, but that may not be the case for all of you. I suppose it depends what games came with it...If they decided I might like Moto GP and Winter Games, I might just throw up but on the other hand, if they offered me Timesplitters, Dynasty Warriors 2 and DOA2, I might just bring my self to accept it?

The PS2 doesn't seem that bad, Don't worry Nintendo loyalists I am not on the turn, I still love Ninty and I should have a GBA and Gamecube by this time next year! But, to fill that horrible gap, WHAT DO I DO!

Dreamcasts are good but I don't think PSO, Shenmue and Grandia II will cut it, especially not as well as the 'Hot knife through butter' GT3 or suck like!

I like Sega, but I do feel that the PS2 would be more of an investment! No?

I'm suing.

But what gap there is can be filled very will with a DC.

PSO rocks, as does Res Evil: CV, both are worth getting a DC for.

Shenmue, whilst graphically great, is essentially a 'boring' game.

Having played Grandia on the PSX as a stopgap between Final Fantasy 7 and the release of Final Fantasy 8, I can honestly say that Grandia II is the game I most want to get my mitts on, maybe next week, but then I'll have to drag myself away from PSO, which, incidently, is a great single player RPG in it's own right, don't be put off by the 'Online' tag at the end, you'll get more out of PSO in single player mode than most single player RPGs out there.

The Gameboy advance is released in a few months so you haven't got that big a gap to fill!

My parents know too well not to get me any console with the company name "Sony" painted/branded onto it!
