I'm really sorry to hear about your geandad. Carl seems fine now. It was a little sad when we went down to visit his Parents and got our christmas pressies from his grandie. We visited her grave and put some flowers there. Thise sort of things help a little I guess.

What sort of lab technician are you? and do you enjoy it? I'm completely changing my career to do something like that, so any tips would be appreciated. I'm doing an open university degree in Life Sciences as I never went to uni.
I'm changing my username now, just incase people I know come into this forum (like someone from my work!) I can't be bothered to think of anything original so I'll be 'Kat' from now on, my friends call me that, but not my work people so I can talk freely about my career!!!

Leave stuff alone

Sort of. I'm a Lab technician and I'm doind a part time PhD, but since the stuff I'm working on for both is the same I don't work any extra hours or anything, its just a neat way for the department to get the University to wave my fees. and it has an added bonus that I get a wage!
