Ranners you are a gentleman!
> Liverpool are wey better than Chelsea.
The league table shows that well...
Heskey, though... He was absolutely fantastic!
In the first-half, he was EVERYWHERE, doing EVERYTHING for Liverpool. I was, quite possibly, the best performance he's given the Reds (definitly the best football he's played since he left Leicester, anyhow).
Liverpool deserved to win the game, and they did. They weren't brilliant on the attack (was Harry Kewell REALLY playing?!?), but they did defend very well. Even though Adrian Mutu try to play like an Arsénalman... :P
Losing Crespo so-early-on was certainly a big-blow, but I still don't see why a team with players like Mutu, Joe Cole and Eidur Gudjohnsen couldn't score past Jerzy Dudek... To start with, I think Ranieri got it all-wrong. Why play Geremi in a wide-position when you have Jesper Gronkjaer raring to go? Lampard, though, was as good as ever. So, too, was Joe Cole - they were, infact, quite unfortunate they didn't score what would've been another memorable `Gudjohnsen´ goal with that volley from Cole's pass.
Still; Liverpool won, Everton equalised, and we managed to beat Bolton - thanks, greatly, to the ever-impressive Tim Howard.
However, I think we will be effected when Rio's ban begins... He's starting to look so "authoritable" at the back, we're gonna miss him quite badly. :(
That is all.
The sooner they make clones of Collini to both ref the game and run the lines the better
7 points clear of Chelsea now!
Great to see Scholes doing so much damage so quick after coming back into the team.
And Everton.
The scousers have done well today.
My dad despairs of them, tis sad.
haha.
