Hay all,

I've started a personal site (Steve's Miscellany http://stevesmiscellany.8bit.co.uk) and have started to design, but it has struck me that I really want to learn CSS to use on my new site. Does anyone know of a good site that has a section on how to learn CSS? I tried my usual source "The World Wide Web Consortium" and they advise some books, but I can't be arsed to spend any money to learn CSS. Any and all suggestions are much appreciated.

Having a margin on the left and right of 5px and a div solely for a picture causes problems when going between IE and Mozilla, plus it seems wider on Mozilla?

Hmmmmmm.

That's a relief! I thought I'd gone 12 years back in time ...

I think Mozilla *does* show up as Netscape. I was quite surprised because as far as I can tell Mozilla and Safari show things virtually identically (apart from 'text-shadow') but Opera is quite different.

I have also discovered that Mozilla sometimes doesn't like it if you specify a margin bigger than about 32px below some text elements.
