Saw me dumping my girlfriend of 12 years. January will see me giving up booze for the month. And I'm currently involved in a play that has perhaps the worst, most ineffectual and wet director in all history.

Has anyone else had a godawful Xmas? And if so, do you also feel oddly energised by it?

A combination of things; her moving out to work in America didn't help. Nor did her inability to explain a few things about some incidents a couple of years ago. Nor did her rather precarious mental health. Or, if I'm honest, my roving eye (absence makes the heart grow fonder? Bumslop.) In fact, there are a cavalcade of reasons. I'd rather we'd both been in a position to work through them. But...well, life doesn't always go how you want. ~shrugs~ No point in letting it rip me apart though. We're both still good friends, and I'm damn sure I'd rather get on with my life.

Yup, been and gone. However, I'm auditioning for the stage version of Trainspotting tonight. If I get that, it means more nudity. Yay!

Sorry, sounds pretty crap mate.

I had a good Christmas, but fell out with my best mate on New Year's Eve and had the flu but good anyway.
