Woke up last night about half 5 with a sore throat, I've had it for a few weeks but it's not been really bothering me that much - I've just been a bit coughy and spluttery. Anyway last night I woke up and got the sensation I was being strangled. My throat was almost seized up and I could barely breathe. I drank a load of water to try and un-dry it, but it didnt help.

So I sat downstairs watching Kerrang and trying to breathe. I tried paracetamols but they didnt help. So, without a voice of my own, I got my mum to ring the doctors (I felt like I was about 8) and make me an appointment. I've just been and I have farengitis. "What the sodding hell is that?" I hear you cry. Well it's like larengitis only it affects the farinx instead of the larinyx (My medican spelling sucks).

So now im on pills four times a day and 'drinking plenty of fluids.'

Cheer me up.
