Consoles are easy to pick up and play. They have more arcadey games, as well as having the best RPGs money can buy
PCs are harder to set up but have far more advanced multiplayer games, and far better FPS. Also Strategies. In addition, they don't just play games
There's loads of other points, but we've heard them a million times before!
Sonic
I love RRV, I don't know why, I could race on the Park Town track til the day I die...well almost. The FMV's are great, the music is good, and although it may not be the 'Best' according to most PS2 owners it is the top PS2 game in by book!
I think that the graphics on consoles are better in a way, even if you have just scrapped the money to buy a PS2, and you're not really well off. It doesn't mean you don't get the best graphics because you MIGHT not buy as many games as a person in a well off family...consoles are the same for everyone...equality...how nice!
But PC gaming is probably most renowned for its internet play, there are groups, clans, alligiences and even grans who love a frag fest through the Quake III Server! It is mostly shoot 'em ups that pick up all the internet gaming hype, but there are the minority that prefer to sit back, relax and watch their 200 or so Celts, take on the English in AOK!
Consoles are just coming catching up with PC's in internet gaming, it is hard to imagine them ever equalling PC's BUT with all of the NEXT-GEN consoles planning On-line play of some sort it is looking good!
You can't really say which is better. It is all down to preferance...I prefer consoles...simple!
