The phrase isn't "bored sh!ltess". It's only "sh!tless" is you're scared. The phrase is "scared sh!tless", fool. My mate said "bored sh!ltess" the other day and it made me realise just how stupid it sounds. It doesn't have the same zest as "scared sh!tless".
