Either EA's CEO is suffering from food poisoning and mass hallucinations, or the company's not entirely in good shape. News has just been released stating that EA has cancelled the follow-up to Ultima Online (despite it being nearly complete); any development plans for a Harry Potter game have been halted, not to mention several other projects. There have also been somewhere around 150 firings within EA's various development houses.
It's a sad, sad day when EA shows weakness.

Has anyone played 1080 AND SSX?
SSX isn't entirely original, but has some original concepts which make it a bit more fun.
I wouldn't normally touch a snowboarding game, but SSX is pretty awesome; hours of fun to be had.

M16, i havent got a PS2, or played SSXPRO, so i cant comment, but i have played 1080 on the N64, which was released first, so SSXPRO cant be that original.
I was just making a general comment, not being specific to any one game. But if you look at the FIFA games, i think that just about proves my point.

SSX is a fairly decent game. But original? No, I don't think so - you've already got Coolboarders and 1080.

Why is it a sad, sad day? as far as i can see, all EA release are football games with some slightly altered players stats. As far as im concerned EA are quite possibly the least original games company EVER!!!! I dont really care what console they choose to support, as along as they dont expect me to buy their cr@p games.
I'd rather go for originality anyday. Roll on Sega releasing their games on other consoles, thats what im looking forward to, not EA's re-hash of some 4 year old game.
