One well-known four lettered games shop in particular infuriated me at how little they seem to regard the intelligence of their customers. The shop in question had huge red sale stickers stuck onto just about every game on the shelves, and looking around I quickly noticed something odd, a lot of the stickers quoted things such as 10% off and 20% off and so on, but when I asked at the desk about this due to the price sticker on the game being what it was before Christmas, the assistant said the price on the sticker WAS the sale price!
When I told the assistant in my confusion that this couldn’t possibly the right he went and asked for a second opinion from the shop manager who also said this price was in fact the sale price. So apparently their sale price of 20% off is exactly the same as it was when it went on the shelves brand new a couple of weeks ago, the game in question being FIFA 2004 for PS2.
I put the game back on the shelf and went to another shop of the same chain to see what the story was there with the game, and what do you know, it was the exact same story there! The game had the big red sale sticker with 20% off and a full price sticker, so off I went to the cash desk game in hand to ask if this was the actual price after 20% off, and again I was told it was. I have to say I am outraged at this. It seems some stores have no shame these days.

Grafton and Henry.20 Euro to redeem the voucher? She was talking a load of bull. I used a voucher for a fiver in there the other day!

Nope it wasn't. I deal in euro so prices are different.
But what they're doing is pretty gay. Well, that's GAME for you.
