What do you think is going to be the eventual outcome of this series? Obviously Lex will become all evil, probably kill Lionel his dad, and Clark will master his ability to fly and head off to Metropolis to work for the Daily Planet - but what of Lana, Pete, Chloe, and his parents?
As childish as this may sound, I reckon they're all going to have to be killed off (with the exception of his parents possibly), especially Lana, since she would almost certainly figure out who Superman was the minute he appeared...
And Pete? There is no Pete in the films, nor was there any mention of a Pete in Lois and Clark (aired about 6yrs ago) - since he's the only other guy who knows Clark's secret, surely he can't be allowed to remain alive till the end of the series?
Any Smallville fans out there?
Erm, I managed to "acquire" the every episode of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd series (the 3rd series, upto episode 8 so far - so I know what happens in what you'll all be watching on the 5th Jan when it starts showing on Ch4 here), and it really does get better and better.
I guess when I asked the question about what will happen, I was going by my knowledge of what happens in the first 8 episodes of the new series - and what I meant was what will be the eventual outcome of the series? Will they go on to show him getting a job at the Planet, and I guess the main question really is, do we get to see a Lois Lane??
And yeah, about Lana - she's a good clean girl from what I've read of her interviews :)
> Yeah, great series. He really needs to learn how to fly as well.

I saw just about every episode of it, it was a fantastic series (just got a bit confusing/desperate? when Clark was made to marry a frog-eating clone of Lois) - I especially liked Clark's interaction with his parents, as I do in Smallville. I wish it had carried it on, even though they'd done just about everything possible in all the series' combined...
They also do put in some top tunes on Smallville now and then (e.g. Wherever you will go, )
This series is not. Only reason I like it is it gathers up the viewers in America, and then Angel follows it, enabling Angel to get enough viewers to get renewed. Bonza.
And anyway, whats to stop them putting Pete e.t.c into the films? Nothing says they can substantially rewrite the film franchise? I reckon that'd be a good idea.
Plus, as far as I'm aware Pete Ross has always been around in the comincs, just much under-utilized (which lets face it, isn't exactly a bad thing)
But saying all this, they are not following the films stories, they are just trying to make it interesting so it doesn't really matter.
> Lois Lane will never come into Smallville as in the films she comes

> probably end.
Erm... isn't that where the next series is starting?
So why would he want to save people?
