Anyway, who is the best, XBOX, PS2, GameCube, PC, PS1, Playstation, GBA SP, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo, SNES, Sega and so on.....
I would say that PS2 is the best, it has great games and a very handy DVD Player, but is nowhere near as powerful as XBOX, and GameCube has but a few good games, Mario Kart, SSBM, Metroid a few more.
What do you think?

Ok, let's start off with, you are a fool, XBOX does not have "flaky" graphics and I would not call £20 a cheap controller, in fact, GameCube has cheaper Controllers because I bought one for £20 and it had a memory card with it, anyway, the cheaper the better! Who cares about expense, unless you are rich *tut*
And GameCube has little three-year-old games, like Doshin The Giant, Shrek Giant Party, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and silly little disney games.
*Hammer Bangs*
I rest my case.

Those flaky graphics are a lot nicer than anything the PS2 ever produced. Before I continue, I'm not a fanboy, I own all of them.
Munch's Oddysee is quite a decent platformer incidentally. Originally meant to be PS2 exclusive it ended up on Xbox as it was, according to the developers, the only one powerful enough to run it.
Of the current generation of consoles the best is the Xbox. More raw power than any others and it has FSAA etc in the fancy effects department. Also it has the best online gaming service ever. Also it is a better DVD player than the PS2.
Oh yeah, it also has the best racing game on any format bar none (for the Mario Kart fans I'll say I meant just car racing). Best RPG in years in KOTOR. Is the best console ever for FPS's with it having Rainbow Six 3, Halo, Counter Strike, Ghost Recon, Island Thunder, Return To Castle Wolfenstein, Unreal and another Unreal, with Half Life 2, Doom 3 and Halo 2 on the way. Presumably also Quake 4. It also has a whole bunch of other great games, exclusively the Dead Or Alive series, Capcom v SNK Online (or whatever it is), Soul Calibur 2, Prince Of Persia, Broken Sword, Amped, Amped 2, GTA Double Pack (on sale yesterday in Game...), Worms 3D, Jet Set Radio Future, Conkers Bad Fur Day Online on its way... loads of great games full stop with ever more on the way. And sonic.
I love Nintendo, I really do. GC has disappointed me a bit compared to the N64. But still we have had a Mario game (decent if not what we wanted), a Zelda (ditto), MK:DD, Viewtiful Joe, F Zero GX, Skies Of Arcadia Legends (just marginally inferior to KOTOR) and some of the ones listed under Xbox are multiformat. Again loads of good games. And a great wireless controller.
As for the PS2, it is nearly 4 years old now. Graphically it is nice, but the least powerful on the market. It has a few good games, such as Final Fantasy X, Everquest Online, Gran Turismo, GTA and some of the above games. But it just is not up to the standards of the Xbox or GC. Sorry, but it is true and you all know it. Just doesn't have as many great games, though it does have 10 times as much crap games as the other formats. 3 years ago PS2 = great. Now PS2 = lacklustre.
But best console of all time... the wonderful little white box.. the Dreamcast.
It had Sonic. Good start. It had RPGs galore, Grandia 2, Skies Of Arcadia, Phantasy Star Online.
It had racing games. Metropolis Street Racer. Only been outdone recently by PGR2. Oh the memories... Sega GT, Ferrari 355, Le Mans 24 hour. And Daytona.
It had fighters. Soul Calibur, DOA2, Virtua Fighter 3 and that other one that I forgot the name of (Powerstone?).
It had shooters. Hidden And Dangerous, Quake 3 Arena, Unreal and Half Life was developed for it. The non release of Half Life is the most unjust thing ever. It would have been the DC's Halo.
It had sports games. And no EA! Virtua Tennis, 2K series of NHL and NFL games.
It had Jet Set Radio. The most original game in so long.
Also the Dreamcast had online play. Proper online play. It worked, even though it was only 56K.
In short, although now it is totally outclassed performance wise, it did wonderful things with its hardware. But we all know that gameplay is what really counts with games, on any format. The DC had some of the greatest games ever crafted. The fact that it was such a commercial flop is one of the tradgedies of videogaming history. It deserved better. Sega were willing to make up for the mistakes they made in the mid ninties. They said sorry by releasing some of the best gaming moments of all time. And we repayed them by letting them go to the brink of bankruptcy. We said that the PS and PS2 were better.
We were wrong. I'm sorry Sega.

hahahahah
I own a PS2 and Gamecube so here is my view on the three consoles out now.
PS2 - Has a lot of games that I like, also I'm impressed that it was released a year before the GC and XBox and can still compete with them. Also the added bonus of the online gaming and some great games to come means it is going to keep me busy.
GC - Could count all the games I own for the GC with both my hands, a lot of the games don't appeal to me but out of the ones I own most are great fun games to play and look and play very well. Good value for money too but I personally think that Nintendo don't really acknowledge European fans in the same way as the Japs (Seems we miss out on a lot more in terms of games and console colours, bundles etc)
XBox - The only one I don't own, would if I could afford it but the subscription costs of the live service put me off. Has games that appeal to me but I have come to the conclusion that it would make more sense to wait until the next genration of consoles appear before purchasing another console.
I did some research into the consoles for a uni project and there isn't a great difference in performance and abilities of each console. As to which is best it all falls down to personal taste and for me I play my PS2 more than the GC.
I was being sarcastic XBrick sucks
Gamecube is defenately the best closely followed by PS2
PS2 : Brilliant Graphics. Ergonomic controller. Good at racing games.
XBox : *dies*
