I started this because I was trying to think of a topic and it was written as an example, pointless really, but I thought I might as well.

Anyway, who is the best, XBOX, PS2, GameCube, PC, PS1, Playstation, GBA SP, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo, SNES, Sega and so on.....
I would say that PS2 is the best, it has great games and a very handy DVD Player, but is nowhere near as powerful as XBOX, and GameCube has but a few good games, Mario Kart, SSBM, Metroid a few more.

What do you think?

The dreamcast did have better grphics than the ps2 and gamecube but you are right like many n64 games dreamcast did not use its graphical potential but in some games the graphics did stand out and were superb, take shenmue the only game on ps2 that can match facial details and backgrounds is ff10.
But if dreamcast did use all its graphical potential then most gameplay would be choppy and freeze. Splinter cell on ps2 was known to freeze quite alot and be very choppy because of the amount of cell shading and the ps2 is not that powerfull now imagine dreamcast using all that potential up sure it would be like watching real life but it would freeze so much that all the games would be unplayable and way to short.

Nope. If you want to get technical then the DC only produced around 20% of the computational power of the GC.

you lot, pack this crap in, all consoles are made to entertain, and they all do that job, so what does it matter if another is more powerful if they all entertain.
