"Help needed: information on UK game distribution system"

Dear all,

I'm a student currently doing research on UK's game distribution system. As I do not actually live in UK, I would greatly appreciate if anyone can provide me some information regarding where you usually get your games. For example, name of departmental stores, speciality shops, discounters, online stores etc etc. Please let me know which area of UK you are in if you do help out in the survey.

I get mine from SR, Gamesstreet.co.uk (both online), GAmeplay.com (online) and occasionally from SImplygames (online) and chipsworld (online). I have bought from EB and Chipsworld, but the prices are not the best, and the range is limited.

I live in Bedfordshire!

I get my games from loads of different shops. GAME, HMV, Virgin Megastores, Electronic Boutic (not the right spelling for that, just put E/B).

Some people shop at Dixons but I try to avoid this when possible because they're not the best games shop. They also specialise in TV'S steros etc.

This is a good site for getting games online.
