What's relevant is that I now want some wireless headphones, preferably ones that can transmit through walls so I can wander aimlessly around the house while listening to Will Young. also, they should be around the £30 mark.

yours were cheap. mine have a tiny antena and a recharge port for the headphones. 10 or 20 metre radius.
Wireless, I had some like that. Used them once, and once only.
Reason being that you have to put in stupid batterys into the actual headphone which means they run out very quickly.
I also had this damn stupid pole thing which had to be plugged in and I couldn't move too far away or I'd hear nothing.
Wireless headphones suck.

i have a pair of panasonics (wireless). theyre quite bulky, but light and useful.
Wireless headphones? Great! I must get some. The lead on my Sony ones is a constant irritation. Always getting tangled up or caught on something.
