They lost-out in the play-offs for a place in Euro 2004, and they also seemed to have, somehow, lost their "fire-power" upfront.
And this is a team still with players like John Carew, Tore-Andre Flo and Steffen Iversen - even with Solskjaer injured!
Maybe they're just getting old... They're defence certainly is! :o

Czech Republic, especially, are on excellent form, and it's no surprise they're 6th in the world. They could beat anyone right now.
Mexico might play quite a lot of rubbish teams in comparison to others up there, but they'll still be a pretty good side due to their playing frequency, as IB mentioned.
