did u recive the payment???

OK, funkwit, where to start. No hello or goodbye. No capital letters. Use of 'u' instead of 'you'. You lazy, good for nothing piece of crap, I swear that I'm tempted to put semtex inside the parcel that your somewhat tardy cheque is supposed to pay for.

Also, “my” is a possessive adjective and not a pronoun (still shouldn’t be capitalised though)… I’ll leave it by making a whole second post about it after I forgot the first time round.

Notices slew of proper nouns that haven’t been capitalized… similarly leaves it by actually mentioning it :)

You should never start a sentence with the words "but" or "and". This has been a matter of debate amongst grammarians, so possibly forgivable.

I'll overlook the hackneyed phrase that starts the paragraph for now. ‘Mario Kart: Double Dash' is a product name and as such should be denoted by some form of differentiation from the general text under modern techniques. Most commonly this would be through the use of italics, though I understand that’s not possible in the current situation. Further, the first comma is totally superfluous and therefore should be omitted.

You also failed to use quotation marks when presenting the sender’s text; a cardinal sin.

Aren't I the didactic bore? If we all got wrapped up in such niceties language would never progress and we'd still be deciding on a suitable superlative for the grunt. I think it's clear you understood the meaning of the message; was a moaning post to a completely unconnected bunch of people really necessary? Ultimately I presume the purpose was more self-gratification than altruistic chastisement… well, the same can be levied upon me : p
