Leeds Uniteds fantastic run continues. The club that is second from bottom beat seventh place Charlton two weeks ago and then forced a 1-1 draw with (at the time) premiership leaders Chelsea. If that was not proof enough that the doom and gloom predictions of Leeds were highly premature a dramatic late goal created leeds' 7th point in 3 Games against fourth place Fulham.

Fulham manager Chris Coleman was frustrated by the game claiming his side "unfortunate". But later went on to admit that the leeds manager, players and fans are more one entity than any other club in the world and that a club that can claim 7 points from 3 top half premiership teams does not deserve to be struggling in the relegation zone.

In other news John McKenzie, the leeds united chairman, is said to be putting together a consortium of investors in an attempt to save the club. Despite having to step down if the deal was to go ahead McKenzie who has 4 million shares in the club is said to be talking to middle eastern contacts in an attempt to buy the club. Trevor Birch states that McKenzie is one of 3 key contendors for the club. The other 2 are thought to be ex-leeds united deputy chairman and the Sheik.

Another fantastic result, yes!

But there is still a very-long way to go - even though things look very good, for the near-future at least. It's not even January yet!

Good to see Leeds won't be "certain" to follow the likes of West Ham and West Brom down into Division One next season, given the fact that they'll avoid the `Bottom of the League on Christmas Day´ jinx that has seen every other club in that position, at this stage of the season, go-down. :)

I admire Trevor Birch for what he's done. I don't have a clue who he is or what he's done (aside from "finding" Roman Abramovich for Chelsea), but he does seem to know what he's doing, and he left the "easy-life" at Stamford Bridge for a club that really needs help off-the-pitch, and knows what True Football is all about.

That's another thorn in Abramovich's foot, then! ;D

Peter Kenyon? He's just a known-face in the business world only in it for the money!! :P

Eddie Gray seems to be keeping Mark Viduka under-control well, though. With all the recent 'paper-speculation about a possible January-sale to Man United, you'd think it would be effecting his form... But what a strike! And a great performance from a man who really looked like part of the Leeds team (and not an individual), once again.

Alan Smith's doing well in his new-found role, also. Although, with Paul Scholes, Joe Cole, Wayne Rooney and others having already impressed there for England, I doubt this'll do much to improve Eriksson's "blindness" either, unfortunately. :(
Still, his never-say-die determination and will-to-win is proving quite an addittion to that midfield; even if he isn't scoring goals, right now.

And Jermaine Pennant; what an idiot Arsé'ole Wenker really is for allowing this play to go!! No matter how-little Leeds' transfer-kitty is come the end of the season, this is one signing they HAVE to secure.
He's really hitting top-form now, and is getting into some great goal-scoring oppurtunities, aswell.
He could've had one-or-two on Sunday night - if not for the woodwork. :)
And I loved the way he frustrated John Harley and others with his pace and trickery (I laughed like a Leeds fan when that one guy - who I forget, now - booted the ball behind for a corner, just because Pennant was so annoying!! ;D ).

I'm becoming so-supportive of Eddie Gray's Leeds side that I'm even considering becoming a part-time Leeds-fan, until the end of the season. I'm thinking of buying a Leeds shirt even - and I don't care what other people think!

If I did it with Watford a couple of years ago, I can do it again - and this time, they'll stay-up! ;)

Peter Kenyon did well at Man Utd, so he should be some good, seeing that he was at a VERY strong team...

Leeds Utd have recovered their form, all they need do is recoup the debt. In fact, why haven't they done anything yet? If they're not careful, it'll go very wrong very soon.........

Can't beleive how Leeds have suddenley turned there awful form around.

I was looking forward to us giving you a thrashing, but now I'll settle with a 1-0 win.

Leeds seem to be finding their form if they carry on they'll skip the relegation struggle. As for James Millner I wouldn't go that far saying he's a young Ronaldo..

woo, we won !!!
come on leeds, 7 points from 3 games proves that we are still a class side, but we had no spirit and where underperforming. now eddie gray is in charge leeds will cruise to the top half of the table, we will get taken over, and, the american bonders, who we owe £60 million pound of our debt to, have accepted to take half that.
its a white future,
and james milner is a young ronaldo !!!!

Very entertaining match for the neutral, really enjoyed it. Even if the Leeds fan on fanzone was a bit of a nutter.
