...seemingly for fun.

Don't know if this has already been posted.

Warning - obviously this video contains somebody getting shot, view at your own risk.

That is some SICK crap. I could understand, MAYBE, if he was getting up and someone spotted that he had a weapon, then they shot him, and moved on like professionals. But taking several shots at their own leisure? Whooping and cheering like the rednecks they quite blatantly are? Disgusting.

The other worrying thing is that they do it so openly, on bloody CAMERA! Surely there are rules and laws against that sort of thing. Of course we don't see everything that happened, but the way they were acting was that they were in no immediate danger, they were acting quite relaxed. They can't exactly say he "had a big knife and was running at us shouting anti-American war cries"

It makes me sick. Does human life have so little value to certain people from our supposed "developed" countries?

I have no doubt that a lot of Americans aren't like that at all. But a worrying number of the troops there are. I know they only show the interviews which are interesting, so most of the ones we see are the morons saying rediculous things, but that doesn't change the fact that they're there. And they've got guns.

I'd like to see what happened in the frames that were editted out. If he didn't do anything at all then it was sick, but not only sick but murder. Somehow though I don't think that is the whole story. If any of us were ever to do something like that we would get ripped to shreds for it.

The troops may have had reason to believe that he was a threat in some way, perhaps booby trapped, perhaps faking it. I don't know. What I do know is that the interview with the soldier was editted and that it takes someone very sick to think having to take a life in combat is "awesome". You don't want to do it again. I know that much.
