I basically think that love is an expression that goes to a special someone which comes from within i.e. from the heart and not a physical expression.

Love is based on admiring the inner person rather than the outer person i.e. getting to love someone because of his/her character or way of life as according to his/her life principles and not as according to his/her physical appearance.

Love of a loved one is not destroyed by a loved one losing personal wealth or something of material value but love is infinitely given in all circumstances.

Love has no expiry date and is not given on a certain condition.

Love is the greatest thing that everyone in life longs for. Everyone wishes to be given this special thing.

So if you wanted, say a doughnut, and I had a doughnut, you would love me?

Love is an emotion we use to compensate for something missing in us that we find in someone else.
