Christmas is ok but alot better when your younger and you want toys etc well i've basically had some money from my parents to pay for some of my driving lessons so i won't be getting much on the day.

But on the 28th will be my 19th Birthday so might get something then but overall it does'nt feel the same i no longer actually seem to look foward to the presents just most other things like the Partys and Food and maybe seeing my Gorgous Ex-Gf.

But basically i will be more Excited Around End Of January and Febuary Since that when Morrowind Goty Comes Out for Xbox But also I get to take and Pass my Driving Test and get a Car woooooo lol

So you're saying that when you drive you're completely silent?

I don't know anyone like that.

My first test was cancelled because my booked examiner was ill. I was pushed to the next available test the next week - and came down with the flu. Could I postpone it til another day?

No.

It was either forfeit my money or take the test. So, dosing myself up with as many different non-drowsy chemicals as I could, I took the test, and failed.

If I had taken it the week before, I am certain I would have passed.

I passed second time - had a much nicer examiner - talked to her about cats.

My second test-failure came at a roundabout...

I was waiting to turn right, and had to wait quite a while, since there was a lot of traffic coming from the right (which you have to give-way to). Finally, I saw what looked like a chance, and decided I might go. But, I look over to the right, and see 2 cars waiting to come onto the roundabout... But I couldn't see why or WHAT they were waiting for.

I gave them a good deal of time to pull-away before I decided I'd been waiting long-enough, before deciding I would not be going. I look again, and one car is indicating left. The other, though, is looking to go straight-on. He ain't movin', so I is. But, as soon as I do pull-away, the examiner reacts and slams the brakes on to tell me that blue car - which was INDICATING `LEFT´ - has instead decided to go straight-on!!

As soon as she 'took action', I knew I'd failed! Infact, I thought I might have failed for my dissapointing reversing-round-a-corner; but I did not. It was JUST that roundabout incident!

A lot of people have said she should've just let it go, because he changed his mind... But I still know I deserved to fail, just because I could've checked right once-more. If she hadn't stopped the car for me, there could've been damage - that's all she needed to fail me!
Sure, maybe he could've swerved... But even though it was HIM who didn't know where he was going, I still could've made things worse. :(

And I failed my first test for 2 other reasons.
One was for - quite literally - flying round a corner on 2 wheels (even though it was completely empty at the time). I did lose control a little. And if it was busy, well... You know!
And then I got one even my instructor agress I did not deserve. Outside the narrow road by the test centre, where cars were parked either-side, there was a bin-lorry smack-bang in the middle of it - blocking any way around it. So, I pulled-up behind the parked cars and waited until it had gone before moving-off to finish my test. But, apparently, one of the cars I overtook already had someone inside, waiting to overtake -- even though I never saw anyone in the driver's seat, and they made no attempt whatsoever to pull-away or even indicate their intentions! Bah!

But what I don't understand is, if they can try as much as they like to keep us "Boy-Racers" off the road for a little longer, why can't they do ANYTHING about the transit-drivers and other 'maniacs' who are causing problems all over our roads TODAY, after passing their (so-called) "Tests" some 30/40-odd years ago...?!?

Anyway, I'm hoping it'll be third-time-lucky come February, for me.
I NEED to drive. I live in a bad area for public transort, and I've an good-condition Ford escort sitting outside that barely gets used.
You've just got to be SOOO careful in your tests, these days...!

I failed for hesitancy - I was at a T-junction and an old lady behind me was getting road rage because I didn't pull out for ages.

Oh, the irony.

That's what happened to me! I carried on up a road, past parked cars - putting us in danger of oncoming traffic (even though there was loads of room and the other was for not using my mirrors when reversing (when I did). That examiner was extremely picky - think he gave me about 7 minors too...

I passed first time but must have caught the examiner in a good mood. I couldn't do the parallel parking (still cannot) and made a few errors during the test. Halfway through I asked to be taken back as I knew I had failed. He just said "No, no, carry on" with a cheery grin on his face.

Turning without indicators? I rotated my arm the wrong way around.

Still passed me though, he must have gotten jiggy the previous night.
