Anyway, do any of you know where I can get a .com or .co.uk website, which one is more efficient and how much does it cost?
Just wanted to create a webie to promote manga, put my manga drawings on the web, wanting to be a pro *manga-ka!! ^_^ :D
*manga-ka: manga artist
I'm hosted there.
It's good.
Go there, be happy.
And don't buy from Freeola unless you have Freeola broadband. They're overpriced and you have to dial up for the webspace which is out of date now. Plus to change the nameservers just to get a different host you have to pay... (It's normally free!)
Oh, don't buy from oneandone either. They won't let you use any hosting apart from their own payed for space.
Apparently you can only have a freeola domain if you are with the ISP aswell :(
You're doomed to have 2 years of Freeola.
I'm screwed!! Absolut Neo... Omae wo korosu(I'll kill you)!!
... Can I get a refund?
Don't buy domains from Freeola.
They're twice as expensive and the hosting requires you to dial up. Unless you've got Freeola broadband, they're crap.
You've made a mistake now.
Whoops.
> Freeola?
Yeah, I just bought a domain from Freeola for like 30.35!! And now for some reaosn I'm having some probs with it, too complicated! How the hell do you start making your domain anyway? And is it true that its in scripts?!?!
To be safe buy from ukreg.com or you may regret it.
Some companies won't let you get hosted elsewhere, once you buy the domain you have to get hosted with them costing £££.
Buy a cheap domain and get free hosting at www.staghosting.com
Easy.
> www.lycos.co.uk - £5 for 2 years
Yeah I would say go to this site, its £5 for a .co.uk for two years and about £7 - £13 for a .com for three years. You can occasionally get a good deal on there for something like:
£8 for a .com for 4 years.
