I've just realised how much I love being at Uni!

There's so many things here that I wouldn't be able to do back at home! Like typing this for example, I could never be allowed to type this at 1AM on a Friday morning!

Plus I don't have to be in until 2:30 tomorrow/today. I won't set my alarm clock, I'll just wake up when I do. At like 1:30! I sooooooooooooo couldn't do that at home!

And other simple things such as, um, eating cookies before dinner-time. Mum would go maaaaad normally!

Oh, the fun.

Moral of post:

"Go to Uni, you spend all your money on going out and you get to eat cookies before dinner."

I'm not tired either. I got up at 3:15 today. I'm becoming nocturnal. Oooooh, damn.

Heh, unless you get to do it part time, and work pay for the lot. The donwside of this is part time study while doinf a full time job. Its certainly a killer.

I study music tech at Uni too! Which one you at? I'm at APU in Cambridge. And you're right, the work they give you for that type of course is absolute nonsense. One of my modules required me to draw a poster for 33% of the mark!

Oh yeah, I haven't included anything to do with top-up fees, which could come close to an additional £2,000 per year for "top" Universities.

Tuition fees: £1,125 per year (£3,375 over three years)

Loans: max £4,000 per year (£12,000 over three years)

Total: £15,375 student debt upon graduation. That's more than a whole year's salary when you get to the point where you have to start paying it back.

It's good and enjoyable if the course is something you're genuinely dedicated to, and challenging at the same time.
