Well, I've only just installed the former, but wow, the improvements are great! OK, I suppose there isn't much difference for most of the packages other than the lovely blue theme (and it is easy on the eye), but Outlook and its new layout is sensational.

More on OneNote after I stop playing with the entire suite.

NO deb files are superior to RPMs in every possible way.

As for my settings, they won't work because we have different monitors. You need to look up the vsync and hsync of your monitor, or just use one of the default ones.

Anyway, I've come up with a genius plan - apparently, Mandrake's support of USB CD drives is good, so I'll burn some ISOs and install that; and then install SuSe on this machine... now.

I've noticed Debian has packages as .deb files, and not rpms, so you have to convert it? What a lot of hassle.

Ha! That lacks ambition. Surely the whole point of Linux is for it to not work for six months, thereby forcing you to learn everything about the damn thing just so that you can play tuxracer?
