what a rubbish performance at west brom.
they dont have the youth system of the likes of arsenal, west ham, leeds and liverpool.
i mean c'mon, okay darren fletcher looks good, but it really wasnt fun to watch.
especially when the teams i listed above have had great youth systems.
arsenal: well they thrashed wolves with their 3rd team.
west ham:joe cole, lampard, g.johnson, m.carrick, defoe, they have all come from the hammers.
leeds: smith, kewell, milner, lennon, woodgate, and some other players who have left.
liverpool: gerrard, owen, murphy, and some other players.
man utd need to sharpen up !!!

Indeed. And United have got some great young players coming through at the moment: Mooniaruck, Stewart, Tierney, Fletcher, Richardson and Eagles to name a few.
Man Utd have produced the likes of Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, P+G Neville, O'shea, Brown, and Butt down the years. All capped by thier country.
Hardly a poor youth system. And dont forget West Brom are flying high at the top of division one at the moment.
Liverpool didnt really do much last night anyway? Knocked out at home to Bolton? And they still had mostly foreingers playing.

You are comparing man utd's youth team of today with other teams older youth teams.
Think of all the players who have come through from the utd youth teams in the past.
Giggs, beckham, scholes, butt, Neville and Neville, wes brown, fletcher to name just a few. Pretty much all of them have played at the highest level for club and country.
Sure we havn't seen much from the youth (compared to previous seasons) apart from last night but to base your views on one game that you seen is just stupid.
There are quite a few unknown players at the moment who are sure to make it big in the years to come.
