I'm fed up of saying this, so I'm posting this one the forums, and I'm going to pop it everytime someone thinks different to the above.

I might even explain WHY the Gamecube is as fast as the X-Box later... ;0)

BTW: The X-Box looks rather disapointing at the moment.

Ridge Racer 64 is better than the PS2 version though.

I don't think so. But I'd imagine they'd want it out in the U.S. by Christmas. Otherwise, and pardon me for saying it, they're morons.

If you compare early releases like Ridge Racer on the PS and Top Gear Rally on the N64 you can see that the graphics are A LOT better in Top Gear Rally. I dont have a PS and so i havent seen MGS runnig, but my mate has got GT2, the graphics in Beatle Adventure Racing are better.
Also, Quake 2 looks a lot better on N64 the PS.

I dont know why im arguing this cos its the gameplay that counts anyway...

My eyesight is perfect and I didn't notice much difference. The N64's graphics were brighter, and a little more detailed, but it certainly didn't justify that it's 2 times as powerful!!

Not if they're already being produced somewhere, which would be wise if they're to make it out this year.

X-Box is out later so the technology is going to improve and microsoft won't hesitate to improve it.
