I got a new CPU for my computer, the problem is it is the wrong shape to fit on my existing motherboard. I sorted this by trimming a load of the pins off of the CPU, and widened the CPU socket by stretching it slightly with a small screwdriver. It just fits in nicely now. But when I switch it on, nothing happens. Ideas? It's doing my sodding head in!
Must be how official magazine reviewers rate the games.
it's not the original review that's funny, it's the peoples reactions.

I got some people in the PC forum ages ago with a similar one about trimming a gfx card. I didn't want to sour all those people though in case I have a real problem in the near future.
