£3,000 upwards per year on tuition fees. Though it looks like science based courses (Chemistry and Physics) are exempt from this in order to encourage more students in these areas.
To be honest, I'm all for top up fees in the "interesting, but not exactly practical" courses - psychology, wine drinking, surfing - blow up the fees to 10 grand a year for them, that way the rest of us won't have to pay that much.

Top-up fees are the wrong way. Blair just wants to line is already oversize pockets. The government wastes hundreds of thousands of pounds every minute, and Tony needs an extra few million to sort out all the trouble he's in.
