I sort of accidentally guessed what my boyfriend was buying me for Christmas, by saying If you've bought me a Metal Dancemat I really don't want one.

Now he has had to cancel the Order (sorry SR for losing you a £100 order :s ), and now I'm thinking if I hadn't known about it, it might have been a good present after all.

Oh what have I done. I think I need your advice on what I should do.

You'll be tied to the kitchen either way: I admire his forward thinking.

Shouldn't I do something special for him instead?

Theonly way to atone for this is to cook your man a nice meal and perform oral sex on him.

the Ring of course :D

I would have liked the Dancemat too had I recieved that, but finding out before hnad has made me think how on earth can you justify spending that much on a Dancemat.

Oh, Ros - what have you done?

Me and the missus were watching telly the other day and each time a particular song came on she'd hum along to it quietly. So, feeling clever, I thought: "Aha! She likes that - I'll get it her for Christmas".

So, the next day, while she's out shopping, I pop onto Amazon and order it, along with a couple of DVD's and a video. When she gets home, what's the first thing she shows me that she's bought? You've guessed it ...

Make him squirm and get something more expensive, even though it was your comment that ruined his first present.

Women are good at that.
