Actually it's made me wanna get Anchor, merely because the advert is funnier than any other butter advert I see. So that's one more customer they will have.

Adverts are just a way of persuading you to buy stuff. An effective advert, for example, would be 'Buy this or the puppies die'- aggressive, yet persuasive and probably illegal. Yet it'd work because people like puppies.

It has to be one of the worst adverts i have ever had the misfortune to hae ever seen. Adverts are either meant to persuade u that they are the best and u need the product or service. Or the other way like Currys do, to make u think of them when u need electrical goods etc. This poor advert does neither of the above and anchor have paid for rubbish, that advertising team should be dismissed
