Right, cheers. I though the hit thing was just for setting the colour it went to when you clicked on it.

All proper button symbols have a hit state.

Right click on the text, go to convert to symbol. Give it a name and make it a button. Then, double click it. Note that the timeline's changed. Im trying to thin of a way to get round the text issue, its been bothering me since the beginning, but bar invisble boxes I cant think of a way of doing it. I'll have to try at some point.
