...about ebay. I know I should look on the site, but I would rather someone just directly answered my questions please.

I am thinking of creating an ebay account, in my dads name because i am under 18. But a few questions:

1. Is it free to sign up?
2. Does it cost to put an item up for 'auction'?
3. Can you put a 'minimum sold for price' on an item, so if it does not make that, you can keep the item?

Yuh-huh

Depends on price... from 10p to £35

It's called a reserve, and I think it costs a bit more to put one.

The reserve price depends on how much the reserve price you set is. It's usually around an extra 40p.

Cool, how much does it normally cost to put an item up?

Costs me around 85p for each thing I sell. Though I do use the reserve and buy it now options.

I got quite a collection of games, and some antiques for my grandad, well hopefully.

Also little things around the house like DVD's and VCRs

VCRs??? those are old...y do u have those still?
