Crespo hasn't scored in what? 6 weeks? Mutu not since Lazio, 4 weeks. And these two are 'the best strikers in the premiership'. Even Fredi Kanoute has a better record than both of them for this season, and he has been injured for 6 weeks.
So yeah, in my oppinion they have both been pretty poor, along with Veron (yes he has been injured for a while).
However I must not forget that they are still getting the results as today proved. So what do you think, are the dream team living up to expectations or not?

Hey, they were hard shots...That penalty spot wasn't "normal".
crespo is not truly class, chelski would be better with adriano.
I think that says it all, really!! ;D
I'd agree with Crespo being a little over-rated though. But with Gabriel Batistuta gradually leaving-the-picture, the Argentinians need another striker to "worship" - and, somehow, I don't think it's gonna be "Hat-Trick" Palermo...! ;)
But he is still adjusting to life in the Premiership, really. Compared to Serie A - and just about every-other domestic European league - it is very tough for foreigners, here in England.
Abroad, in Spain and Italy, you get plenty of time on the ball, compared to here (which is why they are often seen as more 'skillful' leagues - and why David Beckham is doing so-well with Réal in La Liga). Over here, though, players are closed-down almost-instantly - yes, even goalkeepers! - and that is usually followed with a bone-crunching challenge or "thump" (especially if it's an Arsénal player! ;D ).
Give him time, and he might be able to improve his scoring record.
I don't really think he's done too badly, though. And he's certainly proving he's worth it in the Champions' League. But what you must also remember is that "The Tinkerman" does still not have a "first-choice eleven" - let alone a 'No.1 strike-partnership', with Hasselbaink, Gudjohnsen and co. also fighting for places!
