Those controllers just really got me, because they were exactly the kind of thing I was on about about a month ago.
Right now they are perfect. They are the ideal method for controlling games, and I don't think that there's any need to go beyond the simple joystick and buttons system which has proven itself and worked well over the last 3 console generations.
In Nintendo's case, "unique" often equates to "needless and a waste of time".
