NTL BB is getting worse by the week, off since yesterday lunchtime, they don't know when it should be fixed but it may be tonight.
I have NTL cable TV and phone service also, I will be keeping these but am thinking of swapping Broadband providers but Tiscali and the like need a BT line, is there anything I can do without a BT line that won't cost me a fortune ? (I'm not that clued up on BB and lines by the way as you may have guessed !)
My postcode is RM3 if it makes a difference.
Thanks
*NTL cable
*Telewest cable
*ADSL
If you're able to get NTL cable you're extremely unlikely to be able to get Blueyonder, as Telewest and NTL co-operate on coverage areas. Your only other choice is ADSL, which will require a BT line of some sorts.
Note that yesterdays problems were not NTL - a transcontinental cable went down causing mayhem with the UK network. Not that I'm trying to defend NTL or anything...
Oh, well, I've heard Pipex are decent...don't hold me to that though, as again, I don't know myself.
