If the earth had lower gravity field (or whatever) would everything be much taller?

Conversely, if the gravity was much higher, would we all be midgets?

Which would you prefer to be? A tall gangly giant, or a scary northern-esque midget?

The Moon has lower gravity than the Earth but I can't remember hearing about gangly moon men who are 9 feet tall.

I wish you'd grow up Einstein before posting this proposterous acusations against me.

Low gravity would be the ONLY entertainment you'd need...

"look at me, i'm doing triple somersaults in the air, and diving into concrete. woops, it seems my PC is aerodynamic!"

"let me flick maltesers into the air whilst you catch them in your chosen body part!"

ahem...

I'm already a midget so I'd like to see what being tall is like.
So, Gangly Giant.

Is the air thinner up there past 5'3"?

If the planet got much smaller life wouldn't even exist because there wouldn't be enough gravity to hold down an atmosphere. Thats one of the many reasons why there are no green men on the moon.

The size of the planet would still bethe same, so it'd seem that much bigger if we were all smaller. Because, you know, it's not big enough as it is.

Lower gravity would perhaps allow for rudimentary flying, perhaps after ingestion of significant quantities of baked beans.

Lower gravity would also mean much, much bigger buildings. Higher gravity would just mean Newton would've had his head smashed in by the apple, and we'd never know about gravity.

I'll be a tall, gangly giant please.

Everything would be in relative proportion though, wouldn't it?
Low gravity - everything bigger. High gravity - everything smaller.
We wouldn't recognize if we were tall or small. Maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, I'd want to be taller, bigger, ogre-ish.

I'd prefer lower gravity, 'cos then I may be able to fly.

However, I like the idea that if we were midgets, the world would seem bigger and have more to do....

Presumably if everyone was the same it'd be a choice between giants and a comparatively small world, or midgets and a really big world with more to do...

I'll be small thanks :^)
