It's getting really worrying now we have been sucked into the bottom 3 of the table along with Leeds and Wolves. Our Away form is a disgrace, just like last season.

I thought last season was worrying after the 'Blues' did the double over us last season and we ended up finishing 16th, but this season looks even worse. Fulham and Charlton who I expected to be in the relegation battle, are flying high in the table.

We really needed to beat Tottenham to bring them back into it, but after going 1-0 up we went very sloppy and conceded a goal.

Leeds are a certain to go down, which means the other two places are up for grabs. It may be early doors, but if we somehow end up bottom at christmas it won't look very good. Graham Taylor was the start of Villa's decline, by selling our best players for near or nothing.

Merson was the flair player and created alot of Villa's goals, but after he went we struggled to find the net. We have already failed to score in 6 of the Premiership games so far this season, even with the likes of Vassell.

All we need is a flair player in midfield and a couple of strikers. I also think we need another Right back because of the injury prone Delaney.

Here's what I'd like to see in January:

Vassell in a swap for Robbie Keane
Koumas in from West Brom
Earnshaw in from Cardiff?
Gilchrist in from West Brom

Who do you think will go down if we don't?

20 goals in 3 and a half months is nothing to be proud of, of course, I understand your reasoning.

Tool.

20 goals in Div 1 equates to roughly 3 goals in the Premiership :P

Theres more than 1 division seperating the Premiership and Div 1 in regards to quality, theres so many players that score 20+ in div 1 but cant score more than 5 in the top flight... its not uncommon... its practically guarenteed.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAAA!!!

Highest scoring player in england so far this season, and you think Villa can snatch him away from Cardiff? Dream on! He's not going anywhere for any less than £10mill, and that's only if Sam decides he needs the cash, which is highly unlikely. On current form, Cardiff will be in the Premiership next season anyway, and Earnshaw will be living the Premiership dream with the club he loves representing his adopted country.

Villa won't drag him away from that. In my opinion, only a top 3 club has that kind of pulling power. Villa ain't that.

As a Birmingham fan im obviously happy that were above you (and rightfully so) but i honestly wouldnt want to see you get relegated, weve waited so long to get these great derby games going and if you got relegated then we'd have to wait again.

I personally and 100% believe that Wolves, Portsmouth and Leicester will be the bottom 3 teams... if Portsmouth do escape the drop then Leeds may be the ones to fall.

I dont think Villa will go down, infact im almost certain of it... currently youre playing pretty bad and as you say youre away form is terrible but i think you will pull this around and finish around 15th.

I think Blackburn are looking more likely to drop as they are playing some absolutely poor football despite finishing the game against Man Utd quite strongly (most teams raise thier game at old trafford)

Villa should be safe this season, theres easily 4 or 5 other teams that should finish below you even if you only get a 'fair' bit of form going.

*points and laughs* You're stuck at the bottom of the table.

And any "So are Wycombe" comments...LEAVE IT!

You're behind City? *laughs some more*

I guess we'll be playing you in Division One next year, after we've overcome this wee setback.
