· As well as this it must be simple enough for inexperienced computer users to work out what to do.
· It must be a quicker substitute for writing every detail down by hand.
· The system must be entirely self-explanatory, so that again it is easy to use.
· It must show the user, at the click of a button, who is renting what video or game, and when it is due back.
· When a film or game is returned, the system must update itself, and make that film or game back in stock.
· Information about clients must be easily deleted and new clients added without too much hassle. As well as this, it must also be easy to edit user details, for example if they moved house.
· The system must produce reports for the owner when a film or game is overdue, along with the details of who has that film or game.
· The system must be easy to update the whole system, for example if the owner buys new films, they must be able to input the information about those films easily, and add them to the overall database.
· The system must show the user, if searched, what the most popular film is, so that he can think about investing in some more of that film.
· If searched, the model must show the user a list of the members, films and rentals.
·
