This one closes on April 1st, but it's not an April fool.

Over the coming weeks we are upgrading our search engine. It's having a triple destructurisation operation and invisible lurking terms enhancements.

The prize will go to the person who finds the MOST VALID PROBLEMS across our WHOLE PRODUCT RANGE in the SEARCH FACILITY.

If you think you should be able to search on "Horror Movies", but nothing comes up, then add it to your list.

If you think people will mis-spell gran turismo, then add that too - but test it first.

Use short lists if possible but multiple posts will count together. i.e. all your posts on this subject will add up and count towards the prize.

Closes 9 am on April 1st, 2001.

I recommend you read the details of our searching process which you can click to from a link at Site Map. Basically we use the start of a word, so a search on "thunder" will find "thunderball". If several words are combined it must find all.

Ironically i searched for Retailers and didn't find you in the list.

Found it but doesn't look like a normal link that tells you to click on it. It's stuck in between too many other seacrhes.

Unless they are looking for the WWF forum, in which case they are unable to.

a) we are not talking about searching our site (in this little exchange of words)

b) it's not difficult to search our site.

The onus has to be on the person searching. We aren't mind-readers and people don't expect things to fall into their lap. Most people know what they are looking for and find it by THINKING about how they search.

You could but buying it and getting it as a free gift is a different option in the process of buying.

Here's a thought, when you search for a game, or item that can also be claimed as a free gift, such as Wayne Gretzky Ice Hockey for the N64, rather that just coming up with the game, why not something saying that it can be claimed as a free gift when you join.

It might encourage more people to join when purchasing.

N64 Hardware search:

"Rumble Pak" returns a blank, though they are officially known as "Paks" rather than "Packs"

It's the same for memory packs, and the expansion pack.

Whatever this means, people search on Special Reserve to find us. It's not a mistake. Several thousand per month in the UK.

Over 2000 people per day come to our site from links or searches, and we don't advertise anywhere.

Harder to search your site that;s why you use ads instead.
